I am seriously so terrible at updating this thing, I really should try and do better, because when I read blogs of my friends and family I wish I would update mine and be just like them! Haha. So again life has simply been a whirlwind over the last few months. Fall is here and in full swing!! I definitely am a fan of the warmer weather, but the colors of fall are so beautiful that I can't help but love this time of year! I have been so incredibly blessed these last couple of months and although life has definitely had its ups and downs I've appreciated every experience. I've met some amazing people and strengthened a lot of friendships and can't wait for the adventures that are to come!
I ended up moving back into Logan and with the change of living situation I'd really like to make some other changes in my life. I really need to work on my relationship with God and my relationship with myself. Nothing too major, but I've been putting certain things on the back burner and I've seen how that has changed things in my life. I just need to put some things back on track and I know things will just keep getting better and better.
Dad came out to help me move this last weekend and it was exactly what I needed! I felt like I hit a wall a couple weeks ago and all I could think about was needing a hug from my dad. I'm 23 years old, but I don't think I'll ever fully grow out of sometimes just simply needing a hug from one of my parents. And the fact that they are willing to fly all the way out to Utah from Kansas just to give me a hug (disguised as helping me move) means more to me than they could possibly ever know. I have been so incredibly blessed with the parents that I have and how they are willing to do anything for me. They are my best friends and I wouldn't have gotten to where I am today without them.
So a little over a week ago I went on a mini-road trip with my girls, Julie and Drew, and it was a blast!! We went down to Cedar City to visit a couple of friends and while down there we met up with a group of friends in Zions to do some repelling! Basically we became part of a "Man Trip" and fit right in! Not sure if that is a total good thing, haha, but it sure was a lot of fun! More mini-road trips are in the future and I can't wait to experience them. I really do have an amazing group of friends and through them I'm meeting more amazing people with stories to tell and people I know that I can confided in and will help me in a bind if they can.
Another change in my life is that I've met someone that makes me incredibly happy. Travis and I met a little over a month ago and since then it has been an almost non-stop conversation between us. I haven't felt this happy in a long time (don't worry, I'm pretty happy all the time), but this is just a whole knew level. Things are just smooth and easy right now and I don't feel the need to rush anything, but to keep letting things grow and see where they go. I don't know where things will end up, but for now I'm very content and kind of enjoy not knowing exactly what is to come. But don't worry, I'll keep you posted.

Life is all about Change
They always say life is about change and boy is that statement true for me right now. After living in the same place for the last 4 years, I'm moving into a new place. I feel really good about my decision to move out and move on and experience something new and continue to grow in different ways. I have great experiences over the last 4 years, but now it's time for some new ones.
I've decided I'm really terrible at keeping things like this updated. I mean the last time I wrote on this was in November and it's already halfway through August of the next year! This has been an amazing year though. I've had such a fantastic summer with a ton of great new friends and new experiences! I went to St. George for the first time with my friends Michelle and Katie, which was one of the best trips I've been on since I've been in Utah. We went to Zions National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and not to mention a little side trip to Las Vegas and Hoover Dam. Good times with a couple of wonderful girls!
Once school got out the adventures continued! I started to meet some great people by going to my friend Clint's game nights each Sunday and then also going to Cameron and Ben's on Thursdays for another game night. We became this awesome little troupe that just continued to grow and add more people. We've had bonfires, hikes, movie nights, days at the beach, trips to Salt Lake, and a couple of great campouts up at Bear Lake!
Our first weekend trip up to Bear Lake was over Pioneer Day weekend. The group included me, Drew, Emily, Landon, Clint, Talmage, Ryan, Heather, Ben, Bryan, Nate, and Swayz! We were going to camp up by Bloomington Lake, but ended up just staying in Clint's grandparents' yard out under the stars. That day we had gone and played at Bear Lake for a while, then went and made dutch oven dinners and desserts. Some of us took a short drive up to a small pond and walked around for a bit, while others just stayed by the fire and chatted. The next day we went up to Bloomington Lake and played on the rope swing where there were some near death experiences, but luckily we all survived! It was such an awesome weekend with a lot of great memories that will never fade!
Two weeks later we headed up again for even more adventures. The group was made up of me, Drew, Emily, Landon, Clint, Nate, Bryan, Jake, Brian W, Britney, Catherine, and Ryan. This time we were staying at Landon's family cabin and it's a good thing we did, because we had a pretty decent thunderstorm that evening. It was funny because the guys had just finished making this amazing fire pit....but just 15 minutes after the fire was up and going it started to pour, it was cool while it lasted though! We all went for some late night dips in Bear Lake and then settled down for the night and woke up with the sun bright and early the next day. Then it was down to the lake to make a giant pyramid of sand. Some of the group had to take off early and the rest of us stuck around for a while longer and enjoyed the last part of Raspberry Days.
Well the summer is beginning to wind down now, but the good times are still going strong. We're trying to get every great moment we can out of it!
